Planning a trip to Scandinavia for late summer next year, and trying to figure out where in Norway to be on which days, and in what order, I’ve found out there’s an annual food festival in Bergen, happening on September 1 and 2, 2023. Has anyone been to this? Is it worth planning the Norway portion of the trip around the festival?
We generally enjoy food extravaganzas. But I wonder whether this one’s extra expensive, whether it’s discouragingly crowded, and if the food is special enough to make it a primary attraction for visiting Bergen those days? We’ll plan to be in town for a few days either way, but should Sept. 1 and 2 be part of the agenda?
