Has anyone had recent success arranging a car rental in Balestrand? The Balholm Bilutleige recommended by Rick appears to be no more. I attempted to contact Balestrand Adventure (Hotel Kviknes indicated rentals would be run through them for the coming summer) but after receiving one reply have encountered weeks of radio silence. Not sure how to proceed; would be much more convenient to be able to rent a car in Balestrand rather than needing to go to Sogndal...
