another NIN question

I'm doing a one-way Norway in a Nutshell over the course of two days (with an overnight in Flam) starting in Oslo in July. I plan on booking the Oslo to Myrdal and Myrdal to Flam ahead online. I have my boat from Flam to Gudvangen booked and I've booked my hotel in Flam.
My questions...
Should I book ahead the bus from Gudvangen to Voss and then the train from Voss to Bergen??? Or can I just buy those tickets on the day of travel? Can I make ticket purchases at the TI in Flam? Could these two modes of transportation be full if I just show up?

I believe Rick covers this in his Bergen chapter of the guidebook. From memory I think he said you don't need to book the bus in advance but do book the trains. Lots of helpful advice on NIN in his book if you haven't read it yet : )

Bus shouldn't be a problem. Train Voss to Bergen is a regional and doesn't require seat reservations. Other than July being a big Norwegian holiday travel period, booking the Bergen Line Oslo to Myrdal with seat reservations is the crux booking. Book as soon as you can (about 3 months ahead) especially if you are looking for Minipris discounts.
