I am Rick from India and I plan to take the Geirangerfjord Fjord Cruise on 8th October 2016. I will be staying in Alesund. It is here that I need your suggestion.
I observe from the website rutebok.no (link: http://rutebok.no/nriiis/Default.aspx?Language=e) that there is a bus (Route No 250) which starts from 11:00 AM from Ålesund Rutebilstasjon and reaches Hellesylt at 1:50 PM. Then as per the website there is a cruise from Hellesylt Ferjekai at 2:00 PM which reaches Geiranger ferjekai at 3:05 PM.
However, when I visit the website Visit Flam (link: https://booking.visitflam.com/en/to-do/a822973/fjord-cruise-geirangerfjord/showdetails) I observe that from Hellesylt there is no Cruise which starts at 2.00 PM.
However, there from the website (link: https://booking.visitflam.com/en/to-do/a822973/fjord-cruise-geirangerfjord/showdetails) there is a cruise which starts from Geiranger at 2.00 PM which reaches Hellesylt at 3:05 PM as stated in the website above.
I need your guidance on which is the correct position. In light of the above, I have the following queries:
- Which Cruise should I take - Geiranger - Hellesylt – Geiranger OR Hellesylt - Geiranger – Hellesylt.
- Which is the bus that I should take to (a) Hellesylt and return OR (b) Geiranger and return. Please also tell me the timings of the bus and bus of which route and time should I take to visit Geirangerfjord Fjord Cruise and return.
I will come to Alesund to do this Cruise only. Kindly let me know at your earliest convenience as I intend to complete the booking
of Geirangerfjord Fjord Cruise in a few days. This is the only leg of my Norway Trip that I am not too sure about.
