I'm looking for accomodations for my family in Bergen in late June. One of my family members is sensitive to heat and humidity, so I'm trying to book something with air conditioning. When I filter to include that in my search, the only hotel that comes up is the Radisson, but it seems like only the suites have it, and they are quite costly. Does anyone have any other recommendations? Thank you.
I stayed in the Radisson Blu last July, 2023. No problem with the room temperature. Did not have a suite or upgraded room. Enjoyed the hotel and would choose it again.
My recommendation is to not bother with it, I don't think you'll have any use for it.
Agree to Badger. AirCon for cooling is not really needed in Norway's climate zone(s).
Based on climate tables Bergen has a very humid climate.
I’m hyper sensitive to heat (migraine trigger) and in my many visits to Norway in the late spring/summer, I have never needed a/c. One visit to Bergen in May I needed to buy gloves:)
