We are staying in Bergen July 19 checkout 20th staying in Vegas for two nights and going back each day after an activity and then I’m assuming train to Oslo and we’re staying in Oslo for four nights
This is self responding like, what can I do while my son is white water rafting in Vos
What exactly is your question?
I meant VOSS. Hahaha I was speaking into my phone apparently I spoke too fast.
Transportation method between Bergen boss Oslo, what would be easiest and does a person need to get tickets ahead of time for trains or buses or can you do them at kiosks?
And I did have a question in there like what activity can I do all my son is white water rafting in Vos
For the bus from Voss to Oslo (which would probably be breaking new ground on this forum) you need to book online with Vy at least 15 minutes before departure. There is at least one change (except the overnight, which is direct) and they do sell out so leaving it to the last moment would be unwise.
It is a totally different route than the train.
The train, in theory, you can turn up and buy BUT in high summer that again would be very unwise as trains do sell out, booking ahead would therefore be very much preferable.
If chancing it like that the best train to try your luck would be the 1414 Regional train to Mrydal changing there for the summer relief train to Oslo, originating at Myrdal. However that service is a short train formed of regional train cars with no catering, so is not the normal standard of train on the line for the 6 hour journey.
As for activities in Voss you could do a Voss to Gudvangen to Flam to Myrdal to Voss form of the Norway in a Nutshell.
Or, something we rarely see on here- the Hardangerfjord- either a round trip such as this- https://www.authentic-scandinavia.com/experiences/hardangerfjord-excursion-from-voss
or the Hardangerfjord in a Nutshell, but as Voss to Voss, rather than Bergen to Bergen- starting at Voss at 1005, ending in Bergen at 2029, then the train back to Voss at 2136, arrive 2253.- https://www.fjordtours.com/en/norway/tours/hardangerfjord-in-a-nutshell
For other ideas see the town tourism website- https://www.visitvoss.no/en
Another idea would be bus to Gudvangen, visit the Viking Museum, bus back to Voss- https://en.vikingvalley.no/
Sorry, but your posts are rather confusing.
Assuming you are wanting non sporting things to do in Voss:
Voss Gondola, you can book one way or roundtrip, hiking optional
- Voss Folk Museum
- take a walk along the lake
If you are not already planning to take the Norway in a Nutshell route between Bergen and Oslo, you could book a modified tour that takes you from Voss to Gudvangen by bus, ferry from Gudvangen to Flåm on the spectacular Naeroyfjord and the Aurlandfjord, Flåmsbana from Flåm to Myrdal and train from Myrdal to Voss. All portions of the trip are scenic. It will be a full day, from about 10 to 5. It is a self guided tour that can be booked through FjordTours. It should be booked in advance.
