We'll be in Bergen for a day in late May. What sights or experiences are best for this short visit? We won't have a car.

Strolling through the fish market and going up the funicular for city views are 2 activities we enjoyed.

I agree with Tammy and add the Old Bergen Museum. It’s an open air museum within a setting of a 19thC village. Costumed docents add to the experience as well. Can’t remember the name of the restaurant there but we had a very good Norwegian lunch there!
