Traveling to Zurich airport from Lucerne Switzerland ( time needed?) Airport checking ? Terminals ?
Never been to this particular airport, make sure of the time needed to navigate due to extremely early flight out to Amsterdam.
Thank you
What time is your flight, and what time do you want to be at the airport? The Swiss Railway site sbb.ch/en will tell you exactly how long it will take, to arrive at the time you want (1+ hour or so). The rail station is right there in the airport, but it can still be a long walk to the check in area.
PS you posted this question in the Netherlands forum, so you might want to move it if you want more input.
Swiss check in 3 is right at the airport train station. You do not say what airline you are using.
To reply , I will be coming from Lucern to Zurich , Flight out of Zurich is 7:00am, flying delta,
Amsterdam flight is also delta at 10:40am.
Thank you for your help
You should be at the airport by 5 am, AFAIK, the earliest train from Luzern arrives at 6:12 am, so I would spend the night at an airport hotel for a 7 am flight.
The 7am flight is likely a codeshare using KLM. We're also on the 7am fight to Amsterdam in late May. I took a look and thought it would be tight that early even from Old Town Zurich, so we're staying at the Radisson Blu the night before. You walk from the hotel into the terminal. https://www.radissonhotels.com/en-us/hotels/radisson-blu-zurich-airport
Zurich is a small village in Friesland (Northern province in The Netherlands), and it does not have an airport. Getting there from Luzern will take some time :-)
