Which pass - I Amsterdam or Museumkaart?

We are going to begin Amsterdam for 6 days and I just bought our Anne Frank House tickets and selected Dutch Museum card as payment option. So now I have to buy one! (I was going to anyway). I'm thinking Museumkaart looks best. We won't do tons probably but likely 6 or 7 while we are there. Definitely Rijks, and Van Gogh and Anne Frank.

Thanks for advice.

The Museumkaart is the best choice. You can buy it at all of the three museums you mention. Buy it at a smaller museum to avoid a possible queue at the ticket desk. At this page you'll find a list of all the participating museums in Amsterdam.
Don't hesitate to visit those smaller museums, if only for 15 or 30 minutes. The Cromhouthuis and the Museum Willet-Holthuysen both give you a view of the interiors of all those grand houses on the canals.

As the previous poster said, buy the card at a less busy site before you go to the Anne Frank House. It can be a zoo there, so having your Museumkaart in advance will be one less complication.

A further benefit of the Museumkaart compared to the iAmsterdam card is that the Museumkaart covers most museums in the whole country. Even if you're just taking a daytrip rather than overnights in other cities, it's likely that some admissions will be covered.

Thanks for your advice, that's the way I was leaning and good to know that's the way to go.

Sorry if it wasn't clear, Nigel, the question was in the subject line!

Thanks again all.
