Hello,
We 2 are old and will be the first time in Amsterdam for a week 18-25 April 2019.
Where can we see Tulip and Windmill as everyone see in postcards? A lot of tulips and windmills :)
Thank you so much.
Keukenhof Gardens is the absolute BEST place to see lovely tulips and other spring-flowering bulbs......an absolutely incredible display.
On the drive to Keukenhof, there are also lovely fields of tulips...acres of lovely blooming tulips.
There are windmills in various places in the Netherlands, but there is also a windmill designed for tourist photos at Keukenhof.
Check out photos of Keukenhof on line as well as on www.tripadvisor.com and you will, no doubt, want to visit.
I have visited many gardens around the world and in the US, and Keukenhof in the spring remains one of the most beautiful gardens i have EVER visited. Allow plenty of time for visiting, and best to arrive early so you will be among the first to enter on any one day, before the crowds of other visitors fill the gardens.
Enjoy your visit!
Keukenhof is tulip central in April, although there will be displays all over Amsterdam. On Saturdays in April, you can even take helicopter tours of the tulip fields.

Kinderdijk, down by Rotterdam is a Unesco World Heritage Site for windmills.

As mentioned above, Keukenhof is good for tulips.
Zaanse Schans Open-Air Museum, reachable from Amsterdam, is good for windmills but certainly it's not the only place to see windmills in The Netherlands.
You may want to research these further, including options on how to get there.
Kinderdijk is a wonderful place to see windmills. A tour would be a good way to see it. It helps to have a guide explain.
Also at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm & Vineyard in Woodburn Oregon.
