Where to go on a day trip from Brussels?

I have a Eurostar ticket that allows me to travel to any Dutch station. Ideally, I'll use the Eurostar ticket to travel from Brussels to a city in the Netherlands and I'll return to Brussels on a paid ticket later the same day. I'm looking for a city that has easy train connections to Brussels. In the Netherlands, I've been to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Delft and the Hague.

Which city do people recommend?

Thanks.

Have you seen Utrecht? It has unusual bi-level canals, a train museum, the Centraal Museum (with everything from old boats to modern art), and the unique museum of music boxes and fairground oragns (you seem them on a one hour tour when they are demonstrated - wonderful): https://www.museumspeelklok.nl/lang/en/. The town also has a lovely ambiance, and gets fewer visitors than the four cities you mentioned.

A quick look on Bahn's website shows that it's 2:20 to 2:54 from Brussels Central to Utrecht Central - not sure if this is too far for you in one day.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm debating between Utrecht and Maastrict.
