We will be spending the day in Enkhuizen so we are looking for a somewhat quick and casual place to eat lunch and a slower, nicer place to eat dinner. Restaurant By NAP looks good for dinner although I can't find a translation of their menu. Any suggestions for where we should eat?
Yeah, it's a problem that my husband loves seafood and I can't stand it. Really, I've tried........
You have probably already thought of this but last year when we visited the area, I would look at reviews of restaurants and places we might wish to eat. I used Trip Advisor. At the websites, I would cut and paste the menus into Google translator. It was a bit of work, but gave us an idea of what we might want to consider for a meal as well as the price.
You will enjoy Enkhuizen. The museum is enjoyable and the town is very pretty.

My husband does have a whole system for finding restaurants we will like in Italy, but it's not working as well for Amsterdam or Enkhuizen (the only two places we are going in the Netherlands on this trip). The restaurant I mentioned, for instance, has a menu that cannot be copied and run through Google Translate, plus it only has two reviews on TripAdvisor. I may try emailing the restaurant.
But maybe someone on this forum will have a personal recommendation for Enkhuizen, such as that the snack place within the Zuiderzeemuseum is a great place to eat lunch. Or that the best seafood in town is actually a streetfood place and I could just bring and eat a sandwich while my husband eats sea creatures.
