Westfries Museum closed, should I visit Hoorn?

It looks like the Westfries Museum is closed. They're moving to another location in town but they say it won't be until "mid-2023". I'm planning on being over there in May. Is Hoorn still worth a visit without this museum? If so, how much time would you allow?

I always find these “Is xxx worth it” questions very difficult to answer. Whether or not something is worth it, is personal. There is no one size fits all answer. Whether or not Hoorn is worth it to you depends on a lot of things. How many days do you have for this entire trip? Do you have an interest in historical cities? What attracted you to Hoorn in the first place? Have you considered Enkhuizen with its Open air museum? Etc etc.

I loved my day trip to Hoorn and while I also very much enjoyed the Westfries Museum, it's still a wonderful place to visit if the museum is unavailable. I know that you can have someone take you around the harbor in a boat - we did that and it was very pleasant and scenic. I'm very glad I went and would recommend it.

Thank you for the replies. I'm staying two nights in Edam and yes, I'm planning to go to the open air museum in Enkuizen. I have to stop in Hoorn anyway to catch the train to Enkuizen anyway so I guess I may as well take a look at the town.
