Visiting Kroller Muller museum by car

I plan to drive from Amsterdam to the Kroller Muller museum in May 2025 and plan to take the Otterlo entrance.

The museum website mentions that parking is available at the entrance to De Hoge Veluwe National Park and that we can use free bicycles to ride to the museum.

Can I instead park next to the museum (as this may work best for me)?

Or, can I drive to the museum, drop my family there and come back to the gate to park my car?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

The museum is located inside the National Park De Hoge Veluwe. You can take your car inside the park, but this is not encouraged and you’ll need to pay extra. There are 6 parking spots available next to the museum. These are intended, but not exclusively reserved, for those with walking difficulties. You can’t book a parking spot and when they’re occupied, they’re occupied.
Biking thru the park is a really nice thing to do even if you’re not experienced bikers. There is very little car traffic in the park, which makes it an ideal place to safely try out the Dutch way to get around.

I might add that, when we were there, the bikes were "touring" bikes, not "racing" bikes, and had "fat tires." They were not difficult to operate, with the usual cautions about curbs and potholes. I believe they had tool-less seat adjustment levers. The park is quite large, and since it does not take all day to see the museum (it's not remotely as large as the big Amsterdam museums), with good weather, it's wonderful to explore. I forget what we did about food.
