Van Gogh Museum on Friday Nights

What is it like at the Van Gogh museum on Friday nights when they are open until 9? It seems like there are certain weeks, with different tickets, when there is a DJ or band. But on other weeks is it a more typical quiet museum visit and we could enjoy the audio guide? Could we arrive late afternoon and stay into the evening? It doesn't seem to be a different set of tickets for the evening.

Answering my own question, the Friday night when we went to the van Gogh museum, it was a typical museum visit with the audio guide. The café downstairs was open although a smaller one was closed. Both the bookstore on the top floor and gift store on the bottom floor were open; I think there is one other shop that was closed. There were plenty of people, but it wasn't crowded. Even for the sunflowers or the irises, by waiting less than 5 minutes, we got to the front. As we came in, there was a sign saying that tickets were still available but needed to be purchased online. My overall impression is that it is less crowded this June, after tulip season and before most European kids are out of school, and perhaps due to the uncertainty this year.
