Does anyone know of a website where you can check the status of the tulip bloom in The Netherlands? We are planning a trip early May and would like to track. Thanks!

Im not sure about a "tulip tracker", but most folks going Amsterdam for the tulip season are going to go to Keukenhof Gardens to view them. This year they'really open until May 17th, so your best viewing will be before then.

tulipsinholland.com is a great sight! The author actually lives near Keukenhof, and provides weekly updates on the bloom status.

Thank you for the excellent reference. I could not find a good status site until your reply. Note, I signed up for weekly email updates from tulipsinholland.com on the blooming status. Also, you can reply to their emails with questions and typically get a quick response. Since I will be at Keukenhof late April, I was getting nervous about missing the bloom. Today's status update, plus more, states the bloom will occur 2nd or 3rd week of April through 1st week of May - fantastic.

Frank - I'm glad you like the website! We're going the end of April too, and I anxiously await my email each Tuesday to see the status of the tulips! So far it looks like we'll both be in luck! Enjoy your trip!!
