I've read that the tulips are a little early this year. We're planning to visit the area next week (4/10-16) and wonder if we will be too early. Does anyone know if the peak is still predicted to be mid April?

Hi.
We will be there the week after Easter. I signed up on the Keukenhof website and they have been sending me a weekly update as to what is in bloom and the forecast for blooming in the upcoming week. You can also buy your tickets online and avoid a line. You should see lots of flowers blooming!!

Now in Amsterdam, but I was at Keukenhof yesterday.
It was fabulous. Alot is in bud, partial bloom or full for tulips, daffodils almost finished, hyacinths at peak.
A suggestion to get your tickets online and be there at opening hr. The crowds when we left at 11:30 were thick with a parking lot and road approach jammed.

Oh no, I will be going to see the tulips around April 21, will they be likely in bloom? Did you take the boat tour?
