Tulip Pass Vs Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket

We are traveling to Netherlands in early April and trying to confirm my math is correct, cause something doesn't make sense.
If I buy a Tulip card for 3 days the cost is 78 euros (https://tulipfestivalamsterdam.com/keukenhof-bus-from-amsterdam-schiphol-airport-haarlem-and-leiden/).
If I buy a 3 day Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket, the cost is 40.50 euros which I can use to travel to Keukenhof and entrance to Keukenhof is 20 euros. (61.50 total)

The Tulip pass mentions that its anytime entrance (no reservation required), outside of that I don't see any other benefit

There are 7 of us, so this the difference adds up and wondering if I'm missing anything?

While you do not need to reserve a time for Keukenhof with the Tulip pass, you do need to reserve a time for the bus. From their site: In 2024 it is mandatory to choose a time slot for the Keukenhof bus. This is the time at which you want to board the bus at the departure location. If you buy a combined ticket, you do not have to choose a time slot to enter Keukenhof.

Aside from that, how much will you be using public transport? You could also just use your Credit Card or phone for comntact;less, tap in/tap out.

It is not fair to judge from ten years ago, but Amsterdam made it almost impossible for non-citizens to buy a retail, run-of-the-mill Transit card for loading, at the official transit kiosk near the train station. It's likely that the procedure is easier today (?) There is so much to do in Amsterdam, and we take so many daytrips from the train station, that we really like to have transit cards, even if we just break-even on the purchase.

I just confirmed that if you buy Tulip pass OR have the Amsterdam Region Travel ticket you don't need to make bus reservations. I am guessing you probably have to line up and based on availability they would load you into the bus. We plan to use transit pretty frequently as we're not staying in a central location so I think it will be worth purchasing the region travel ticket.
