Tulip Keukenhof and where to stay nearby on the coast

I would like to see the tulips at Keukenhof and the fields next weekend? Is it too late for the tulips?
I read that there are some small hotels or Pensions nearby the tulip park that are by the ocean. I do not plan to rent a car only travel by train or bus or rent a bicycle. I only have a few days there so I do not want to bicycle long distances from my pension to the tulips. Bicycling 15 kilometers or 10 miles each way or less would be Ok.
Any information or links would be very appreciated! Thanks in advance.

This is normally peak time. If I were going this year I would go exactly when you are.

If there is a way to avoid the weekend I would because that is when the most crowds are there. If you can't, just go and ENJOY.

For accommodation on the coast (not an ocean, but the North Sea) look at Booking.com for something in Noordwijk. For possible bicycle rent google with »fietsverhuur noordwijk«. If that fails, there is a regular bus service to Lisse, with a stop not too far from the Keukenhof. Use http://9292.nl/en# for timings.
You might have a better choice in Haarlem, which is also within cycling distance and has a regular bus service to the gardens entrance itself. Bicycle rent should at least be available at the railway station.
Bicycle rentals might want to see an ID (passport) and ask for a cash deposit.
