TripKey no longer has pickup at Schiphol

This email from TripKey this morning:

*Thank you for your e-mail. Unfortunately we've been told this week that Hertz Schiphol isn't a TripKey pick-up location anymore.
In Amsterdam you can go to the following pick-up location for your TripKey:
Amsterdam Ticket Shop (Amsterdam Circle Line)
Kerkstraat 155a Amsterdam
Please note that registering at the TripKey website is free, it is not a guaranteed reservation. We are doing our utmost to have cards available and assume that we will be able to provide you with the TripKey cards, but we can't promise this.
We are working on a new system at the moment, that will have an efficient stock management. When you book your TripKey in future, you will be able to select the pick-up date and a location. Only the pick-up locations that will have cards available on the selected pick-up date will appear. We will also significantly increase our stock and we are expanding the number of pick-up locations. We expect that our new and improved TripKey system will be ready and released in June

This is in addition to not being able to register for new TripKey until June 4, but will affect those already registered and had been hoping to pick up at Hertz/Schiphol.

I wonder if they have really hit the wall here.

I'm really surprised that their primary location seems to have dumped them. People have had all sorts of trouble at their other locations but Schiphol Hertz was always their big player.

I can't figure out anything else that fits the "Unfortunately we've been told this week" quote.

I've been worried about them for a while but the events of the past couple of weeks certainly don't look particularly promising.

The end of the quote, with all the promises of new, better, more wonderful, scrubbing bubbles, are just empty promises if they don't actually do anything.

Yikes we must’ve just gotten in under the wire! We arrived on Tuesday morning and our Tripkey cards were waiting for us at the Hertz desk. We normally aren’t that lucky! While she was friendly enough to us I have to say that the person assisting us seemed to have a lot to say to the woman next to her. I couldn’t help but feel that they were snarky remarks aimed at Tripkey!!
