Traveling from city center to Schipol Airport Sunday AM

We had our hotel arrange the day prior for a taxi to pick us up and take us to Schipol. I just think a taxi is the only way to go when you are heading back to the airport.

Arrive 3 hours in advance. Any local hotel or host you are paying to stay at can arrange that for you if you ask them. I have also stayed at a hotel near the airport that had shuttles running at 5:30 am.

Which modes of transport are available depends on where exactly you’re staying. From some locations the direct bus is more convenient, from other parts of the city center the train is most practical. Since you didn’t share your exact location, it’s impossible to give you a definitive answer.

How far in advance you should arrive also depends on whether or not you have luggage to check in, if you have airline status etc etc

I also recently had an early flight out of Schipol. I was considering public transportation but as it was very rainy when I was there, I decided to arrange a taxi through my hotel. It cost 65 Euros, which was probably much more expensive than public transportation but worth it to keep myself and my luggage dry. The trip from the hotel to the airport took about 25-30 minutes. Schipol is huge and it may take a while to get to your gate so it's an airport worth arriving a little bit early to.

We had our hotel call us a taxi. Definitely give yourselves the full 3 hours at the airport as suggested.
