Travel thru Netherlands - visas?

Planning on a trip to Estonia. Want to fly into Amsterdam for 3 days before flying on to Tallinn. On the return we fly from Estonia to Shirpol Airport arriving in the afternoon and flying out to the States the next day. Plan to stay at a hotel near airport for the night. Do I need a visa for the three days we are spending in Amsterdam? Do I need a visa for the overnight stay at a hotel near the airport? Never had to before but things may have changed. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Jae Gustafson

The Netherlands and Estonia are both in the Schengen area. If the OP can travel to Estonia, they can travel to the Netherlands. They will enter/leave the Schengen area in the Netherlands, where they will go through passport control, and have their passports stamped.
For the Amsterdam - Tallinn flight they will not need to go through passport control again, as this is like a domestic flight.

the only way to know if you need a visa is to know your nationality - what it says on your passport - and then we can llook it up. or you can, if you want a quicker answer
