Does anyone have any suggestions on ways to get from the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal to downtown Amsterdam with luggage?

train or taxi would work well depending on what your destination is - "downtown Amsterdam" is a big area.... how much luggage?

Uber or taxi from cruise ship terminal to train station then take train to Amsterdam Central Station - unless your hotel is somewhere else in the city. And this also depends on how much luggage you may have. A taxi to your hotel may be a better option if you have a lot of luggage.

The Wilhelminaplein station is a short walk from the cruise terminal. The D & E lines run right up to the Centraal station where you can then hop on a train to Amsterdam (or other towns & cities).
The questions I'd ask are "how much luggage" and "can you ride a metro/train with it". We navigate fairly easily with our amount of luggage, but I'm well aware there are plenty of folks who bring significantly more luggage are physically unable to handle their luggage, and/or prefer a car/taxi/shuttle for more door-to-door service.
