My wife and I are on a tight schedule. We will be staying near the Leidseplein area; with our flight leaves at 2pm. We will be arriving late the night before (just in time for a canal ride), and then just have the morning for Amsterdam. Based on what I've read, Jordaan sounds like a great neighborhood for a morning stroll. Then we will walk back towards our hotel, wander around the Museum district a bit then head to the train station around 11:30am in order to be to the airport around noon.
My question is, what is the easiest way for us to get to the Jordaan area from our hotel location in Liedseplein. Keep in mind we are going to be on a tight schedule. I'm thinking we get dropped off at Jordaan early in the morning, have breakfast in the area, and walk our way back towards our hotel and that should be about perfect timing.
Thoughts if that sounds like a good plan? Thanks!
