Trains to Baarle-Nassau or Maaslant Barrier?

Hi,

Based on feedback from the forum, I am looking at train (vs. rental car) use but am wondering if these two locations are manageable by train? Thanks in advance for your helpful input.

These are 2 far away places that are located at or near the end of our country. Neither place has a train station.
Baarle-Nassau can be reached by bus from either the train station in Tilburg or the train station in Breda.
The Maeslant Surge Barrier is very difficult if not impossible to get to by public transport.

The visitor center of the Maeslant Barrier "Het Keringhuis" offer a limited number of english guided tours. The barrier is located some 4 km from Hoek van Holland, think nowadays no more to reach by train but only the metro from Rotterdam. For more info you can contact the Rotterdam Tourist Information inside Rotterdam Centraal railway station or email: https://en.rotterdam.info/contact/

https://www.keringhuis.nl/english and [email protected] Know that the visitor center is closed up to and including coming the 22th of January.
