We are wanting to take the train from Amsterdam Central train station to Bruges in early 2026 with hopefully only one transfer.
I am thoroughly confused on which websites to book this through.
Option A. Amsterdam Central to Brussels and then another train to Bruges
Option B Amsterdam central to Antwerp to another train to Bruges

It’s not critical to book your ticket months in advance to save money. Another site that works is www.b-Europe.com/en
The ticket from Antwerp or Brussels to Bruges is always the same price. The five+- trains per hour are unreserved, crowded, and often do not have big, long-distance luggage racks.
The Antwerp train station is very beautiful. Brussels isn't.
