Train / Tram / Bus in Amsterdam

Hello,
My family of 5 will be in Amsterdam for 2.5 days.

On our 1st day, we need transport from Schipol to our hotel (or even just to Centraal station)
Our 2nd day we will need transport to Haarlem where will pick up bikes and cycle to Zandvoort. We would then need to take train/tram back to Haarlem to drop the bikes off and then return to Centraal in Amsterdam.
Our final day would be transport to the cruise terminal from our hotel or Centraal.

What is my most cost-effective option as the RS tour book talks about passes, but is this the GVB pass or Amsterdam Region & Travel Ticket?

Sorry but I can't seem to figure this out. Thanks!

GVB is the city of Amsterdam, that is not Schipol and it is not Haarlem. The cruise terminal is walking distance of Centraal, or 1 tram stop.

Sometimes a pass is not necessary, just buy tickets to where you want to go.

Schiphol (mind the »h«) to Amsterdam, and Amsterdam to Haarlem are cheap train rides: EUR 4,50.
For taking your bicycles on the train from Zandvoort back to Haarlem you need a bicycle ticket at EUR 6,20. Zandvoort has no ticket window, so you have to figure out how to get it from the ticket machine. Better buy it at Haarlem station before setting out to Zandvoort. Better still is to cycle back to Haarlem: it is a short ride of around 30 mins.

Make sure you know which cruise terminal. There are 2: one for ocean going and a different one for river cruises.
