Has anyone stayed at The Toren hotel in Amsterdam and if so did you enjoy it and how was the location? Did it include breakfast and if so how was the breakfast. The hotel states on their website that they offer breakfast but the rate does not and I could not find where you could pay extra for breakfast when booking the room. Would you stay at this hotel again? Did you go as a single traveler and if so did you like the room? Thank you.
I have not stayed here, but FWIW it is the #1 ranked hotel on Trip Advisor for Amsterdam.
Haven't stayed at the Toren, but it's a luxury hotel the rich and famous patronize when they are in town:)
It bills its self as a "romantic get away" type place so you may feel a bit uncomfortable as a solo traveler. It's a safe bet breakfast is not included in the rate. If you are willing to spend big bucks other luxury hotels to consider include the Sofitel Grand, Pulitzer, Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky (saw Sandra Bullock in the lobby once), and the brand new Ritz Carlton.
No, I don't want to check out any other hotel. I was really thinking of The Toren and the rate as I said does not include breakfast but they show that they have a breakfast area. Wondering if anyone stayed here.
They do offer single rooms for single travelers. I can't see why I would feel uncomfortable in this hotel. I will have my own room and will be traveling around Amsterdam. Like any other hotel, there will be couples.
It's a luxury hotel considered one of the top hotels in the world, if you can afford it go for it!
