The Hague Hotel Suggestion Please

I've been studying RS Amsterdam/The Netherlands guide, but would appreciate any experiences here.

Any suggestions for staying in The Hague within a 10-15 minute walk to the main train station? It will be home base for a trip to Kinderdijke (via boat), the beach, and of course the town itself (museums, restaurants, etc.). I will be arriving from Amsterdam.

Restaurant suggestions are also welcomed!!

Thanks much!

This past April, my husband and I spent 5 nights at Staybridge Suites The Hague - Parliament . Great location within 15 minute walk to the train station, around the corner from the Mauritshuis, near restaurants and on a tram line that went to the station. Our spacious suite had a bedroom with a parliament view, modern bath, kitchenette and a living/dining area.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed eating the included breakfast in the quiet library overlooking the Court Pond.

The Hague was a great base for day trips to Rotterdam, Delft, Leiden and The Keukehof, as well as convenient for our return flight out of Schiphol.

We’re not big foodies so I don’t have a lot to say about restaurants, however we enjoyed a memorable dinner and apple pie at Dudok. In addition to the Mauritshuis, we loved the Kunstmuseum.

I remember when we go there, For accommodation, the Hotel Des Indes is well-located about a 10 min walk from the station. It's a historic building with character. Or the CitizenM The Hague has modern amenities and a central location. In terms of dining, Poké Pot is delicious for Hawaiian-style poke bowls near the Buitenhof. La Vecchia Signora is great Italian near the parliament. De Posthoorn does classic Dutch fare and feels authentic. and Some other can't-miss spots: Tomatillo for new Dutch cuisine. Wils for excellent seafood. Gys for cozy pancakes. De Waaghals has wagyu burgers.
When at the beach like Scheveningen, definitely try the famous kibbeling (fried & breaded white fish)! Enjoy exploring The Hague!

I had a very pleasant stay at the Boutique Hotel Corona: https://www.corona.nl/en/

Very well-located for shops, restaurants and the Mauritshuis, close to a stop for the wonderful tram route that runs all the way from Delft to Scheveningen via The Hague and about 10/15 minutes walk from the main train station.

Eating-wise, because I travel alone, I enjoy the casual dining of food halls - and ate a couple of meals at the Food Hallen (https://foodhallen.nl/venues/the-hague) with its great range of different cuisines. There’s also a branch right on the seafront in Scheveningen.

We stayed at Voco the Hague, only 200 meters from Mauritshuis and across the street from the lake there. Ideal location.

Having said that, we only booked it a day or two before by looking on one of the websites, Booking, Hotels, etc. and with a city that size I wouldn't expect much difficulty doing that any time of year.
