Traveling in a couple of weeks. What are a few of the best things to do! Thank you it’s our first trip to NL.
what sort of things do you like?
Historic sites, cheese markets, maybe a canal tour.
I'm going to all 3 of these places in September and I'm looking forward to the museums in The Hague and just wandering around Delft (you could tour the Delft factory if it interests you). Gouda has Sint Janskerk https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sint_Janskerk
Have you read Rick's Netherlands book? It's quite helpful. https://store.ricksteves.com/shop/p/amsterdam-guidebook
You will be very near Leiden, a beautiful canal laced city.
Thank you all for the tips! The Hague has much more to offer than I thought it would! Really enjoying the NL. Visited Kinderdijk windmills UNESCO heritage site. A must do!!
How did you get to the Kinderdijk windmills? Did you take the water bus to and from? I’m staying in Delft next year and have this on my list but am unsure of the getting to and from.
We drove to Kinderdijk as we were traveling to Belgium. I’m sure that a water taxi would be a wonderful way to travel there, if it’s possible.
