We (5 people) will be arriving to Zeebrugge by cruise ship on May 13/17. We are looking into booking a taxi to Bruges. Any suggestions from travelers who might have used such a service?
I don't know about taxis, but can share our experience just FWIW. Our cruise on Holland America offered a shuttle from the dock to the nearby train station where we purchased our own train tickets for Bruges. That shuttle may have been free or about $10 pp...don't really remember, there were a few such options on our cruise. It was quite easy and travel times were not long. It is a bit of a hike from the Bruges station to the historic area but wasn't a problem for us. We never saw the shuttle offer beforehand, but learned about it from the cruise director in his port talk prior to arrival. It solved our problem. Just a possible option maybe. If the taxi fare isn't exorbitant it might pay for a group of five, especially factoring in convenience. We were just two. Have a great trip. You might also post your question in the Belgium forum.
Thanks Denny for sharing this information. I did post the same question under «Belgium».
It is better to post just under "Belgium" otherwise it is confusing, you can read my response there.
