Suggestion for travel intenirary from Amsterdam to Brussels

Hi, I am planning a 15 day vacation from US arriving on Amsterdam and departuring to US frim Brussels. Planning to travel on train one way from Amsterdam to Brussels. Goal is to spend 5 days on each of these two cities, and spend another 4 days in cities between these two destinations. What cities between these to destinations do you recomend stoping for one or two nights?

Thanks

Or the short way. Utrecht, nice city which for some reason isn't on the radar. Not too far away is the beautiful fortified town of Naarden. Dordrecht, an undervisited historical city on a crossroads of waterways and, if you're interested, a good base for visiting the windmills of Kinderdijk. Or Gent, one of the nicest cities in Flanders, close to famous (but a little bit artificial) Brugge.

NL: Delft
BE: Brugge, Gent
Consider that many places can be visited as day trips, it is not always necessary to shift locations and stay overnight.
"Planning to travel on train one way from Amsterdam to Brussels." = limited thinking. Assume wherever you want to go you can get to by train. Plan where you want to go, and then look up trains between those locations.

In 15 days (14 nights) you have time to travel south to Paris and return to Brussels.
