I am traveling to Amsterdam on June 3 and leaving on June 11. My focus is art museums. I plan on staying in Amsterdam for 3 nights, Monday through Wednesday. The next night, Thursday, I'm in Haarlem. The following evening, Thursday, I'm staying in The Hague. I'd like to see the Vermeer Center in Delph and the Kroller Muller museum before I head back to Amsterdam. I leave on Tuesday the 11th.
I need suggestions on how to organize the last few days, Saturday-Monday and where to stay. Is Delph and Kroller Muller doable on the same day? I could take a day tip back in Amsterdam on Monday. I'd greatly appreciate suggestions.
Thank you,
Kathy
Consider staying your last few nights in Utrecht. Nice historical and lively university city and it will save you travelling time to the Kröller-Müller Museum. Utrecht has direct train connections to Schiphol airport, 4 times per hour, taking 30 mins.
Delft (mind the spelling!) and Kröller-Müller on one day will be problematic. They are not really close to each other. Do Delft from The Hague. It is a train ride of around 15 mins from station Den Haag Centraal, and in Delft a 10-min walk from the station.
Thank you, that helps a lot.
