Storing our bags before going to the airport

We will be staying at the airport our last night in Amsterdam. We'll check out of our apartment that morning, so we will have 4-5 hours before heading to the hotel. Is there storage lockers or a private business storage near the central station to store 2 bags? The only other option would see if the Citizens M would hold our bags before check in and take a side trio from the airport. Thanks in advance for your help. Mark

It is common for hotels to store luggage for customers who arrive too early for check-in or must check out some time before their flights or trains depart, but you'd need to check directly with your hotel to verify that if is prepared to offer that service.

I cannot vouch for this information, but it appears that Amsterdam's Central Station has luggage lockers.

Yes, there is a large baggage storage facility at Amsterdam Centraal. As you face the station, it's on the far right side. Be sure your credit card has a chip and you know the PIN. It's likely they are fully automated and may not take cash.

As I read your post, you will be in central Amsterdam for 4-5 hours before you go to the airport, where your hotel is. Storing at the hotel won't work, then. I'd ask your rental agent about it (is that what the Citizens M is?). It couldn't hurt. If that doesn't work out, I have no special advice, although the railway station sound like a reasonable suggestion, especially if are planning to take the train to the airport.

Thanks for your replies. We are staying in an AirBnB apartment for the bulk of our stay and then moving to the Citizen M hotel at the airport to save time for am flight. I'll check the luggage at Centraal which will work very well for us. Thanks again, safe and fun travels! Mark

Mark - might be worth checking the prices on any of these places. The drop and go is across the street from Centraal.

Thanks Nance, One of the places is right on the route from our appointment to the train.
