Hello
We will be arriving at Schiphol from Canada, with a connecting flight to Malaga Spain.
The flights were booked through KLM, via Transavia to Malaga.
The problem is that when I check in at KLM Canada, They can not give me our Transavia Boarding passes.
As well, because the flights were a KLM package, I can not check in on line with Transavia, only at there check in desk.
That being said, Arriving at Schiphol, and getting through Passport Control,
Will we have to leave the security area, to get to Transavia Check in Desk, in Terminal 1, to get our Boarding Passes ?
Thanks for any help
John
You do not have to leave the secure area, but you do have to go through passport control point between the 2 sections of the airport. I assume you get your Transavia boarding passes at the gate. It is one ticket with your luggage checked through to Malaga right?
I see that Transavia is a KLM partner. Perhaps you can get your Transavia boarding pass when you check in at your originating airport. There are also KLM desks airside that you should be able to get them.
No this is the problem KLM will not issue boarding pass right through,, Vancouver -Ams- Malaga.
As KLM does not have access to Transavia Computers, and I cant even get seat numbesr till I check in with Transavia
We need to get boarding Passes from Transavia
we only have carry on Baggage'.
You mention that I can get my Boarding passes at Transavia Boarding Gate????
I did not know this, are to sure of this?
Thanks John
At Schiphol, there is no segregated maze to passport control, you simply walk off the plane, into the international terminal, with passport control for connecting flights happening a good walk away, on the way to the intra-Schengen terminals.
On the way, there are a number of KLM kiosks and help desks, simply stop and get your boarding pass for Transavia.
It does help to know the gate you will be leaving from, as there are several passport control points, with one suggested for your gate.

No I am not sure, since I have never flown Transavia. But since they are a partner of KLM, there must be some way for them to issue boarding passes once you get to AMS, even if Vancouver can't help you.
