We booked Hotel V Nesplein in Amsterdam. Is this a safe neighborhood? Is it farily quiet or noisy all night? Thanks for letting me know.

I think there are very few unsafe neighborhoods, and those only an issue if wandering late at night by yourself. The hotel looks to be off the main drag about a block and is up past Dam Square, so that area is relatively quiet, less action than if you were closer to the train station. It looks like a good 4 star hotel, so should have better windows for noise, I would have no qualms staying there.

The hotel is at the heart of the touristic area of Amsterdam which is quite safe. However, I would advise being cautious late at night especially in empty dark alleys, as this area is very famous for its brothels and clubs so it can happen to meet with some unfriendly folks
