Rotterdam Centraal transfer time

Is 7 minutes enough time to transfer at Rotterdam Centraal to our next train? Do I need to add - for an inexperienced train traveler or is that obvious with this question :)

Generally that is enough time for transfers between trains. If you let us know the trains you are switching between, someone might be able to tell you what tracks those trains typically use and be able to give better advice on transferring. Always be ready to hop off once the train comes to a stop, rather than waiting in your seat.

You can use the train planner of NS, the national railways, to see the arrival and departure platforms.
Rotterdam Centraal is an easy station, but the slightest delay of your arrival train can cause you to miss the connection. That is no problem with trains of the Dutch network, because they run every 15 mins. If you have to catch an international train, take an earlier train to Rotterdam to be sure.

We arrive at AMS at 12:45pm from Seattle on August 30th and are heading to Brugge for a beer-cycling tour which begins September 1st
Here's the schedule I'm considering...

14:37 Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam)

15:03 Rotterdam Centraal

7 min transfer time

15:10 Rotterdam Centraal

16:15 Antwerpen-Centraal (Antwerp)

22 min transfer time

16:37 Antwerpen-Centraal (Antwerp)

17:33 Gent-Sint-Pieters (Ghent)

7 min transfer time

17:40 Gent-Sint-Pieters (Ghent)

18:02 Brugge (Bruges, Belgium)

The transfer in Rotterdam is on the same platform (3-4), so 7 minutes is more than enough.

You probably only have to cross the platform (from track 3 to track 4) to get the Intercity to Antwerpen/Brussels.
The line Schiphol-Rotterdam is however known for its delays. The worst-case scenario is you have to wait one hour for the next train to Antwerpen (your ticket is valid for all Intercity trains to Antwerpen/Brussels).
