Is it possible to get Vermeer tickets? My husband and college-age daughter will be visiting Amsterdam, June 9 and June 10.
Also, looks the the Golden-age one-hour tours the Riksmuseum offers are sold out on the dates they will be visiting.
Do they take standby? I did this tour with our older daughter 6 years ago and it was fantastic. Thanks, Karen
Today, Sunday June 4, is the last day of the Vermeer exhibit.
The Vermeer paintings in the collection of the Rijksmuseum and the Mauritshuis in The Hague should be back on display in their usual locations, when you’re here, so you can at least see those.

If they can't get on a tour, the Rijksmuseum app is very good. It has some built in routes or you can random access works of art that interest you. I found browsing it ahead of time helped me plan how to spend my time in the museum.
