We will be in Amsterdam from September 6-15/23. I am trying to book my Rijksmuseum entry tickets with the guided tour, but the tours do not appear to be available after September 3/23. I have emailed the museum, but has anyone else encountered this? I am booking on my IPad, if that makes any difference. Thanks!

What did the museum say when you emailed them?
My guess is that they only sell tickets for guided tours until September 3, because that’s when the summer schedule with extra tours ends.
But why would you even want to book a guided tour months in advance? Yes, they can sell out but not that fast.

I have not yet heard back from the museum. Since we do still have some time, I will wait a couple of weeks, and try again, around the time I have set to make our Anne Frank House ticket reservations! Thanks for your reply…

You don't need a guided tour to go through the Rijksmuseum. We did it on our in last year. It took us three hours to see the entire museum and we did it.

I received the following response from the Rijksmuseum reservation department today:
“Unfortunately these tours have not been planned yet. We hope to be able to present them within the next
week. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
I will check back with the museum in a week or so to see if I can book the guided tour at that point.
