I am purchasing the 72hr I Amsterdam card for part of my summer trip ( 2n 3D). With the card I can not purchase tickets ahead of time ( only the Van Gough). Would the line to purchase tickets be very long on a Monday at around 1:30PM for Rijksmuseum? Thinking of prepurchase tickets to the Van Gough for 4PM. In the am we are going to participate in the Rick S. Audio/book tour.
in July the line will be long;
Maybe I should go to the Van Gough at 1:30 with pre reserved ticket and the Rijksmuseum at 4?
that sounds better but you might get sick of museums after awhile and don't want to rush to take it all in. The Van Gogh will be crowded in July it was crowded when I was there about a year ago in January it is always crowded
Good point. I may then go to Rijksmuseum when it opens up the next day. Then to the Rembrandt museum. Thank you for your help.
Definitely prebook timed entrance to the Van Gogh. We sailed right in past the other lines. Rijksmuseum wasn't as crowded. We had the museum pass.
