Do you have recommendations for a light lunch near the Van Gogh Museum?
Museumplein has a number of food stalls. They are all semi-permanent and I would guess that they are open year-round. You can see them on Google Maps, between Moco and Rikjsmuseum. I had OK street food. Not an indoor, sit-down restaurant if that is what you are looking for.
I have also eaten at the Seafood Bar and the Uptown Meat Club. Can recommend both for dinner, but did not have lunch there. They are around the corner on Van Baerlestratt.
I had quite a nice lunch at Small Talk, which is on one corner of the crossroads by the Stedelijk Museum.
Thank you both
There is also a big Albert Heijn grocery store under the Museumplein. It is just a few steps away from the Van Gogh Museum at the end of the MuseumPlein where you enter a small building and take an escalator down to the store area. Look for the blue Albert Heijn name. They have a lot of lunch/togo type items if you are looking for picnic type stuff.
Here is a link to the picture of the exterior.

There is also a small cafe inside the Museum.
