I got this note from Amsterdam about a special event this Spring. I wanted to share it with everyone.

I have some extra information for you for your visit with us in April

Amsterdam is for 2015 marked by "Rembrandt Late"
This year the Rijksmuseum will be presenting the first major retrospective off the late work off Rembrandt van Rijn;
A once off a lifetime event
over 100 works from leading museums and private collections from around the world will be display here in Amsterdam.

From February 12 to May 17 2015

Also of interest is the annual World Press Photo show at the New Church. It's an annual exhibition of the best in photojournalism from the past 12 months. It is will be the hot ticket in town this spring:

This looks like something I'd like to do but.... Is it necessary to purchase tickets in advance? I don't want to pin myself down to a time if there is no benefit.
