My wife and I will spend three days in Amsterdam in early June 2022. Would anyone recommend a guide who could take us on a day trip to some interesting place outside Amsterdam, probably on a Saturday?

We did not use a guide but used trains to do day trips from amsterdam to.visit The Hague, Delft and Leiden. Also Haarlem and Rotterdam( to take boat to Kinderdijk, the 19 windmills. ) Very easy to use trains .

No need for a guide. Trains are super easy and inexpensive and they travel often out of Amsterdam Central Station. Harlem is about a 20 minute ride, a good day trip.
