We'll be arriving in AMS for 5 nights over Christmas following a cruise. This isn't our first trip to AMS, so debating about whether to stay in town or split the time with 2-3 nights in Delft or Haarlem? We've seen most all the sights in AMS, but do love walking around exploring new streets/canals, etc.
Looking for recommendations for hotels or BNB's in AMS & Delft or Haarlem? Thanks!
I liked Hotel Aalders, near the museums and Vondelpark. Short walk to a tram stop.
We recently stayed at Posthoorn bed and breakfast in the beautiful canal front Jordaan neighborhood. Francois the innkeeper is a jewel.
We spent a week in Amsterdam last August and stayed at a nice BnB near the Anne Frank House. We walked everywhere and breakfast was included. Cost was $1000 for a week stay.
It is the Hotel Nadia.
If you stay outside the city you will waste a lot of time commuting in to the city and incur additional costs for that.
