I was checking the website but didn't notice...I was just curious if you can go in and out thru the day? I'm not sure yet how we are going to do things, but was thinking maybe we'd arrive, look around a bit, do the bike rental, but then if the light is good for pics, I may want to go back in later in the afternoon - so, can we re-enter once we leave?

The Park Regulations - available on the website but you have to dig - state:
"The entrance ticket ceases to be valid on leaving the park."
That's a pretty clear, "No."

That was buried pretty deep Nigel - thanks! So we will have to decide when to do the bike ride, I guess!

You can also rent a bicycle in Haarlem (at the station itself or at a nearby rental) and have a leisury ride from Haarlem through the tulip fields to the Keukenhof, planning to arrive late afternoon. This rental seems to be used to foreigners.
