We are interested in traveling by rail from Amsterdam to Berlin to Prague to Vienna over nine days in mid-July 2024. Would you happen to have any suggestions?

What are you interested in? There are plenty of options and a lot to see and do in between.
Shortest route would probably be Amsterdam-Cologne-Munich-Vienna. And both Cologne and Munich are well worth a couple of days. Via Berlin and Prague is another good option. Or maybe via Switzerland?

We have previous travel experience in Munich. We enjoy walking to explore culture and history and are not opposed to outdoor adventures. Foodies that partake in local spirits to wind down the day.

We want to travel from Vienna to Amsterdam - would night train be our best timely option since we are not staying anywhere in between?
