private tour guide with a car for touring outside of amsterdam

I could not find many recommendations in the Amsterdam guide book for tour guides that can use a car for touring outside of Amsterdam.

I’m not sure what you want the focus of your tour to be, or how many people you’re trying to accommodate, but we used Murk Dijkstra at

We wanted a tour of Operation Market Garden and he provided that tour with pick up and drop-off at our hotel in Amsterdam. If you type “Operation Market Garden” in the search box at the top of the page, you’ll see my review.

We used to hire a driver from Amsterdam to Bruges for the day.

I was looking for going to the K tulip fields as well as seeing windmills, fishing villages, 'typical' dutch landscapes.

hey hey jackdor
couple years ago we did a countryside taxi tour with we did it with marius, who has since retired. a fellow colleage, arthur has taken over.
we gave him ideas what we wanted and he planned it from there. it was a great day middle of june for a full day. very prompt with emails, pickup/dropoff at our apartment on princengracht., and good english. we did stop off in a small village for lunch, invited and treated him to join us. he had packed a lunch for himself. we enjoyed his company and learned a lot the area and netherlands itself.
look at his tours, if interested, and send him an email. hope this is another option for you, have a great time, we loved amsterdam twice.

Hi Jack,

Friends of mine have good experiences with tour guides from Context Travel - ask for Maria! She's extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well as a talented art historian - she's guaranteed to make your trip one to remember. Context Travel does more upscale tours to my knowledge and I have previously worked for them on a commission basis - I am sure they would be able to suggest something interesting.
