We are planning to visit Giethoorn for 2 days one night in March 2016, can you please recommend a good and not too expensive lodging (Hotel/B&B)? Would prefer individual bathroom in the bedroom.

Take a look at booking.com. I have always found their descriptions to be accurate and the average rating of their reviews to be reliable, we look for an average of 7.8 or higher. The reviews are done by people who have reserved through Booking.com so they are real, the only problem is that there are the occasional terrible reviews given by people who would not be happy if you hung them with a new rope.
