The Westerkerk Church very near the Anne Frank house has a tower which the public can climb up. The city library between the Centraal Station and the cruise ship terminal has a La Place restaurant on the top floor with good views. Finally the newish Doubletree Hotel across from Centraal Station has an excellent bar on the top floor with commanding views of the city center...especially good at night.
