Open air markets in Amsterdam?

I love open air markets & have a week in Amsterdam. Mostly to see Vermeer but to just kick around Ams. It's a favorite city for my husband & me.

Ideas? Other than the flower market.

The flower market isn’tan open air market. It’s a row of shops that sell tacky souvenirs and mouldy tulip bulbs that will never grow to be tulips.
On the other hand, you might as well take a look because you’ll only need 4 minutes there; 2 minutes to realize they indeed only sell rubbish and 2 to get out of there.

Luckily Amsterdam does have a lot of actual open air markets, for instance the ones at Waterlooplein https://waterlooplein.amsterdam/en/
Noordermarkt https://www.noordermarkt-amsterdam.nl/en/home-en
Nieuwmarkt: Every Saturday
Ten Katestraat: Monday- Saturday from 9:00-18:00

Just want to say have a wonderful Vermeer visit! I’m still there mentally, lol.

Do know you can go thru more than once. You can either backtrack OR after you exit the gift shop at the end of the exhibition instead of following the blue lines and heading back downstairs you can go through the doorway to the right and you are at the first room. Dress in layers as it’s hot in there!!
